About the Cazo Fire Pit
The Cazo fire pit from The Outdoor Plus is a round powder-coated steel gas fire pit sized at 48-inch. It gives the patio a single focal point that people naturally gather around.
It runs on natural gas or propane, and you choose the gas type in the dropdown so it ships with the right orifice. Have a licensed gas professional make the connection.
Material and Finish
The steel body is finished with a baked-on powder coat, a hard finish that stands up to sun and rain better than ordinary paint.
Pick from 7 finish colors: Black, Copper Vein, Smooth Grey, Java, Pewter, Silver Vein, and White.
Every piece is made by hand in the USA, so small differences in color and texture from one unit to the next are normal.
Ignition Options
This listing offers 4 ignition choices: 110V Electronic Ignition, a plug-and-play electronic valve and pilot igniter that runs on standard household power; 30DC Electronic Ignition, a low-voltage system with a glow-plug igniter that relights the flame if wind blows it out and can be wired to a remote, pool controller or home automation system; Flame Sense with Spark Ignition, push-button spark lighting with a safety valve that shuts the gas off if the flame goes out; Match Light, lit by hand with a long lighter and controlled with a manual valve; no electrical hookup needed.
Electronic versions need power run to the unit, so plan the wiring along with the gas line.
Size and Performance
The nominal size is 48-inch. Gas output is rated at 125,000 BTU. If you upgrade from lava rock to fire glass, plan on about 100 lb to fill the burner area. Listed weight is 185 lb.
